What a week....

I have been EXTREMELY busy this week. The best way to provide an update is to take a stab at one of those poems that makes no sense.

What a week I had,
Shotgun shells shower my head, but it does not get wet,
Clean, Clean, Clean, No Sleep, Clean, Clean, Clean
40 years of crap in a garage must be destroyed NOW,
Dog fight, dog fight, metal most go in bin, burn all else
Too much weight loss in a week, gain a pound back, but Dr declare, just water,
Total fat loss 16, total water 5

There. I feel better now.

Til next week,
Kristi

Oops! I did it again

I don't MEAN to lose so much weight in one week, but it happens! Well, I lost 9 pounds this week. Of course, I got the lecture about water weight, etc. So, I am not expected to lose much weight this next week.

Anyhoo...

About the walks... I plan on walking a 5K in August, a 10K in October, and of course the mini next May. Planning these additional walks should keep me on track to walking every day.

Til next week,

Swollen Ankles

Yuck. Water weight made me up two pounds up for the week. I refuse to update my totals since it should go away this week. I will let you know....

I do not have much time this week, so the post regarding my walking plan will be posted next week.

Have a great week!

Down a Stone!!

Hello!

I have lost a stone! By stone, I mean that endearing British way of calculating...a stone is 14 pounds for the uninitiated.

It has been a busy week! I have 200 dollars more in donations, I lost 3.5 pounds, and walked a few more miles.

I am adding a short term goal of walking a 5K in August and a 10K in October. More on the walks next week....

Motivation

Today was the running of the Mini Marathon for this year. So, I only have 364 days to get ready!!

As I was flipping through some of the pictures on the internet, I noticed that One America also sponsored a mini marathon in Iraq for the soldiers. Seeing these pictures is another bit of motivation. Regardless of your opinion regarding having our troops in Iraq you have to be impressed.

I think if they can run/walk in the heat of Iraq and spend time away from their families because duty calls...I can walk the mini marathon next year no matter the heat, cold, rain, or even snow.
